Pre-boxing day cleanup
As boxing day is getting near and I have blew too much $ already, today we decided to spend some time at home doing some maintainence.
20G Kitchen tank
- 50% water change
- Rocks with dark algae is treated with Mauric acid to descale: one xenia rock, one zoo rock & the big platform rock
- The new sun corals are doing better. Jony's Orange sun coral is starting to open up, the NAFB yellow sun coral is opening up and eating fine
- pH 7.9
120G Tank
- Cleaned the hood for moonlighting
- The clove polyps are half open, so are the new green & blue/red zoo colony but they should be doing better. Next time might want to avoid non-opening speciments.
- Found out torch coral actually will eat like anemones, so will feed them too
- Still no sights of Nassarius snails that I put in anywhere, maybe the substrate is still poisonious from the dead flatworm or medicine.... hmmm....
